Terms and Conditions
Full payment must be made prior to the class or event to reserve your place. Our classes or events can only be purchased for personal use only, and not purchased as part of any form of business or commercial activity.
Our classes may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone whether at a premium or otherwise. Resale or attempted resale at a price higher than face value is grounds for cancellation without notice or refund.
Classes start at 9.30am. Please arrive punctually out of consideration to other guests. The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited. Tapes or films may be destroyed. Laser pens, mobile phones, dogs (except guide dogs with the venues permission) are not permitted in the venue.
We reserve the right at our sole discretion to refuse admission to our classes and events. In this instance a refund may be offered at the sole discretion of The Wedding Academy. The Wedding Academy reserves the right to alter or amend classes and substitute guest speakers at any time.
From time to time, events may be cancelled or rescheduled by us for a variety of reasons. If the class or event is cancelled, please contact our head office on telephone number 0161 338 8000 or info@weddingacademy.co.uk for information on receiving a refund. If the event is moved or rescheduled, we may set refund limitations.
Liability
The Wedding Academy will not be liable for any loss suffered by you which is indirect, special or consequential.
The Wedding Academy will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event which is beyond our reasonable control.
The Wedding Academy accepts no responsibility for any personal property, injury or illness caused by or as a result of food, drink or alcohol consumed on the premises from the venue or wedding suppliers attending on the day.
Cancellation and Refunds
With 21 or more days notice of cancellation your booking can be transferred to another planning day or a full refund will be given. With 20 to 15 days notice of cancellation your booking can be transferred to another planning day or a refund will be given less a £30.00 administration charge per person. With 14 days or less notice, no refund will be given.
The Wedding Academy can under no circumstances provide refunds or alternative dates for missed classes.
Force Majeure
The Wedding Academy should be under no liability if they shall be unable to carry out any provision of the contract for any reason beyond our control including (without limiting the foregoing) Act of God, legislation, war, fire flood drought, failure of power supply, breakdown of machinery, lockout, strike, or other action taken by employees or sub contractors, in contemplation or furtherance of a dispute or owing to inability to arrange a wedding academy planning day or event. During the continuance of such a contingency the customer may request a refund in writing or contact our head office to agree a date to attend an alternative wedding academy planning day or event.
Payment
All fees must be paid not less than 3 weeks before a planning day or event.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months only from date of purchase. Once a course is booked by redeeming a gift voucher, The Wedding Academy Terms and Conditions (above) apply to that booking.

No failure or delay by the Wedding Academy in enforcing any of its rights under the contract shall be deemed to be a waiver of such right. English Law governs all of these terms and conditions
